Friday Faves

Scooter bought me an e-reader before we left on our trip to London. It's become my new favourite thing! I have read about thirty books in the last 2 1/2 months and I just can't put it down. I sometimes miss the smell of paper and the feel of hardcover...but for ease of use it can't be beat.

I know there's some controversy over using books for crafts but I think using them for any purpose, instead of letting them moulder away is a good thing.

  1. Agreed! Love those shelves. What e-reader have you got? My son wants one for Christmas so I'd love a recommendation.

  2. I've got a kobo and I love it! Jessi's hubby has a kindle I believe he loves.

I think there's a new wireless kobo out too at about $150 with many colours to choose from.

I don't know anyone with a nook...I think it's barnes and noble which we don't have up here in Canada...

  3. Love! These are all wonderful ideas...pages from old books also work well in art work and collages.
