It's Sew-Along time!

I have never taken part in a sew-along before, but when I saw the this one on Until Wednesday Calls it sounded like a lot of fun!  I also love that she is a local girl with an adorable blog that you should probably go check out!

I actually missed the first project, which was a skirt and I was sort of sad about that one!  I have about 3 or 4 different skirt styles that I have been dreaming about lately and that would have been a perfect reason to find the time to actually make one.  But with Birth Fest being the day before the project due date I just couldn't squeeze it in.  So the next challenge is a bag/clutch with words.....hmmmmmm.  This one I am going to need to think about!  

It's also a challenge because we are supposed to choose one fabric for the duration of the month!  I really need to get started and choose a fabric!  I am thinking I may use thrifted fabrics - sheets, pillowcases, etc... and repurpose them for these projects....what do you think?  Also, any suggestion on a bag with words?  I can use all the help I can get on this one!
