Is it normal to having wedding jitters...and it's not your wedding?? I think I am just seriously stressing about doing a speech!! I finished my dress tonight (pictures to come after the wedding!) - so I am feeling a bit more calm! My to do list this week is
- finish Kate's dress
- Get wedding favours done (Thankfully the troops have been called in and the Stitch N Bitch ladies are coming to the rescue!)
- Get the rest of their present!
- Get the kids packed for their overnight stay with my mom
- and of course WRITE A SPEECH!
Since I don't want to post the dress pics until after the wedding, here's a little trip down Cassie & Jessi memory lane!

Someone's Wedding is this Weekend!
Cassie is getting married this Saturday and I don't have a dress to wear! (Wow. 6 more days Cassie!!) Here is some navy blue prettiness, any of which I would love to wear, especially the last. Maybe I am still thinking about this dress alteration? Happy Monday all!

Thrifted Thread Display
I saw this link here and so love it!! I don't have all of these beautiful spools but I love all of the thrifted white shelves...it is certainly inspiring for displays in any sewing/craft room!
We are also excited for a shop update coming soon, so check back for cute new items! (psst...think handmade home decor!) Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

My Accounts were Hacked - please read!
On Wednesday we went to see Green Day at the amphitheater in Toronto and it was such an amazing show!!! There is a review here if you are interested but they played for three hours straight with no breaks and had tons of awesome audience interaction and even gave away a guitar... It was definitely one of the best concerts I have been too and I would totally see them again!
We had a great time but while we where away my hotmail and facebook accounts where hacked and emails were sent from my account that read:
I'm writing this with tears in my eyes my fam and I came down here to London,England for a short vacation, unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed all cash, credit card and cell were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.
These hackers also had many live chats with my facebook friends pretending to be me and asking that they send money. When I finally regained access to my fb there where conversations left open so I was able to read what they where saying and it seems like most people knew that it was not me or where smart and asked private questions that only I could verify. One friend did reply to the hotmail message just to see what the response would be, and this is what she got back!
I have now reported this to hotmail and facebook and after doing a little research and googling a cell phone number that a friend was given by the hackers I have found a few others that this has happened to. Although I had never heard of this type of scam before I am learning that it is not new and facebook must be aware of it as it is a clear option to select when you are reporting problems with your account or spam.
I have no idea how they were able to access my hotmail as my password was a random word that I don't think anyone would be able to guess. I just wanted people to be aware of this and don't send anyone any money over the internet unless you are 100% sure of their identity!! I am just so glad that none of my friends or contacts fell for this scam!!

We've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in less than 3hrs from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills.
Am freaked out at the moment.

Glad you replied back ,we have nothing left on us right now and we're lucky to have our lives and passports with us it would have been worse if they had made away with our passport,we had to block our credit cards and cell phone for security reasons
Well all we need now is just $2500 you can have it wi red to my name via Western Union i'll have to show my passport as ID to pick it up here and i promise to pay you back as soon as we get back home. Here's my info below:

Exciting News!
I have been neglecting the blog. I know, I know....it's times like this that I'm really happy I'm doing this with two great ladies!!
The reason I've been so absent is partially wedding planning (only 3 weeks away!!) and partially because Scooter and I have found out that we're expecting a little one next March!!
Now If I could only keep from tossing my cookies....
I promise to post lots of pics from the wedding and honeymoon and keep everyone posted on the status of the little nugget!

Featured Blogger - Annie of wattlebird
Name: Annie (of wattlebird)
Age: 22
Location: Detroit, MI
What do you do? I'm a freelance writer by trade. I work for a few local newspapers and I also manage my blog, wattlebird. When I'm not writing, I'm usually knitting. I make hats headbands, and lots of other quirky items and sell them in my etsy shop, also called wattlebird.
Job or Hobby? Hobby for now. I'd love for it to be a job one day.
What inspires you? Everything. Inspiration can come from unexpected places, so I always just keep my eyes and ears open and take in everything I can from as many sources as possible.
Famous last words? nitwit blubber oddment tweak! (I hope there are some Harry Potter fans out there so I don't just seem like a lunatic!)
