Giddy Up and DIY

There is a whole western trend that's going to be huge for 2010, which is lovely and coincides with Jessi's plaid post. Scooter will be happy as his wardrobe is 90% plaid and jeans...I think it's really cute!

Thought I'd give a shot at a little DIY and made a Fringed Jersey Bandana from an old T-Shirt.
Project after the break!

1.) Cut out the back of a t-shirt and sqaure it off. 2.) Use your scissors to make slits around the entire edge about 2 ½ inches deep and ¾ of an inch wide. 3.) Grab hold of the fringe and pull. This will make the jersey curl up on itself and look "fringier" (technical term☺). Then voila! You are done!

An easy way (seriously, this takes no time at all) to incorperate the western trend into your wardrobe without looking over the top! I am wearing this all the time now!
