Pay it forward fun!
I am taking part in a fun little pay it forward activity from plus three crochet (love this blog for pretty crocheted things!) and now I am going to pass the love on to you! Here is how it works:
* The first three people who comment on this post will receive a handmade gift from me!
* I will have 365 days to get your gift to you.
* The three people taking part will also host a PIF, so you will need to have a blog to join in.
I love getting things in the mail and you probably do to so leave a comment here if you want some goodies in the mail from me!

Monorgramed Christmas Ornaments
I had some clear ornaments hanging around in my craft box so I decided to try and replicate these monogrammed ornaments from Pottery Barn. My camera didn't want to focus on the glass - so here's kinda what they look like!
The Fun of Photographing Kids!
I waited too long to get the girls pictures done this year and all the local photographers were booked. I had to remind myself of my stress-free Christmas plan and just laugh at how my little models posed! Here are some out takes of our "shoot". The finished ones are off getting printed, and next year I'll try and remember to book at the end of October.
Kaitlyn is missing from the out takes - because as a 10 year old she can follow direction - and would probably be horrified if I posted embarrassing pictures!
Lucky me!
A little while ago I won a giveaway from the rik rak studio for two custom stockings and I chose these! They are really pretty and simple and I completely love them. Here is how I am displaying them right now!

Christmas Projects Finished!
Today I finished all my Christmas sewing - I made all the kidlets stuffed Totoros, made some Princess dresses for Maya (out of the shiniest, most awful fabric - but she'll love it!) and some note books made to look like Hogwarts Textbooks. How are you Christmas project coming?
This one has pink ribbon that you can't really see in the picture, and then I made a Snow White one, but the picture came out blurry and I had already wrapped it! |
